And The Album of the Year Goes to...

I'm not even actually biased- as I'm no "crazy fan" or anything- but the latest ColdPlay album X&Y is absolutely amazing. I listened to it twice driving home from Madison today- and could not stop thinking how unbelievably gifted these musicians are. The credit usually goes to Chris Martin (lead singer)- and somewhat rightfully so, but lets be honest- this band plays good music because they are all gifted and most importantly they LOVE playing together.

There are 2 things intrigue me with this album. As cheesy as this sounds, the music makes me want to sing/move/dance/drive fast/whatever. Some music will penetrate your body and almost make it uncontrollable- this is one of those albums. Example: (okay, first- you must go out and get the album- a must- and I might say this twice a year) Listen to Fix You and wait for the bridge/interlude towards the end when he sings: "Tears streaming down your face/
When you lose something you cannot replace/Tears streaming down your face and I" - they lyrics almost become a moot point as the "sound" exemplifies Grace.... wherever you are at- whatever you are going through- throw your arms up and experience it!
